Samsung is one of the most sold and popular phones in the world. The world waits for the flagship phone of Samsung. The new flagship phone Samsung S7 is one of the most anticipated phones in the world and rumors have already started flooding in the international market. Samsung has taken the feedback of the latest release Samsung Galaxy S6 and that may have impact the design, specs and functions of the new flagship phone.
Design and Display
The new phone may not have different design and style. The display size of the phone should remain as it is and may have 5.2 inches. Samsung is known for the bigger and better display size and this will not be different as well. Samsung may come up with the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge as well, the fitting display of the flagship phone may have 5.7 inches. There should not be much change in this aspect for Galaxy S7 as compared to Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. The all glass model may be removed from the new Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Galaxy S7 Edge.
This was one of the major drawbacks for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge for slippery grip. As far as the display is concerned, the display should have Quad HD display with AMOLED display. The Gorilla Glass 4 protection should find a place in the flagship phones as well.
Hardware and Software
Hardware and specifications of the phones are very important and Samsung not seems to be interested in compromising it. The new Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge should come with two different variants of native storage of 32 GB and 64 GB. The device should be powered by Snapdragon 820 chip. However, it should also come with Exynos 8890. Samsung may continue to feature DDR4 RAM of 4 GB for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. This is a faster RAM and would make the device faster than others.
These combinations can be highly efficient for the makers and they would look forward to make a phone with higher efficiency and greater performance. The most fascinating part of the device could be the microSD support. It was omitted from the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge with not removable battery. However, reports suggest that both the features are set to come back for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. The feedback from the users and market response could be the reasons behind the change. If all goes well, then Samsung is planning to launch the flagship phones with Android Marshmallow or Android N. However, there are also reports for Android Lollipop with immediate update to Marshmallow as well.
Camera
Samsung is known for the better camera quality and if the reports are to be believed then Samsung may surprise you with 20 MP camera from Sony IMX 300 camera. It should include features like OIS and many more. The leaked reports have suggested that Samsung is trying to make a powerful and efficient phone with faster speed and better battery performance. The phone should be launched by the month of June. However, there has been no official communication for the same.
